Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Treasury Manager to oversee and enhance our treasury operations.

The Treasury Manager role presents a unique opportunity to establish and shape the Treasury function within Nexthink. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will play a pivotal role in developing the Treasury department from the ground up.

The Treasury Manager will be accountable for the daily management of corporate treasury activities, aligning with the organization’s strategic goals. This role involves collaboration with the CFO, Global Controller, and FP&A head to formulate policies, procedures, and implement robust controls across various treasury functions, including but not limited to: Liquidity Management, Capital Structure, Banking Partnerships, Treasury Accounting, Foreign Exchange Operations, M&A Financing, and Risk Mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Management & Risk Oversight

  • Oversee daily treasury operations, including cash management and banking relationships.
  • Manage global cash flow, ensuring adequate funding for capital expenditures, acquisitions, and operational requirements.
  • Provide necessary documentation for treasury-related accounting, audits, and special inquiries.
  • Assist in developing short-term cash forecasts and contribute to long-term financial modeling.
  • Investigate payment discrepancies and resolve issues across finance and treasury systems.
  • Drive initiatives for process improvement and automation.
  • Lead special projects and conduct ad hoc analyses as required.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with banking partners.
  • Open and close bank accounts, ensuring compliance with KYC regulations.
  • Evaluate and implement suitable tools and systems for Corporate Treasury.
  • Develop and recommend new Treasury strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure timely and accurate internal Treasury reporting.
  • Act as the primary contact for daily inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental SOX requirements, including control updates and testing.
  • Support activities related to debt covenant compliance, ensuring timely payments and tracking lender interactions.

Equity & Stock Administration

  • Ensure accurate administration of the Company’s equity awards, including the granting and exercising of options.
  • Maintain the Company’s equity administration databases, generating necessary reports.
  • Manage the relationship with third-party equity administration vendors.
  • Track and verify the accuracy of the Company’s Capital table and shareholder movements.
  • Collaborate with shareholders and the transfer agent on equity-related requests.
  • Facilitate the execution of documents related to equity requests.
  • Support compliant accounting and reporting of employee stock-based compensation.
  • Assist with share reconciliation on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Participate in special projects and process reviews as needed.

Insurance Management

  • Assist in preparing the annual insurance budget and cash planning.
  • Coordinate the annual insurance renewal process.
  • Oversee the issuance of certificates of insurance, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Provide necessary data for annual insurance renewals.
  • Prepare materials for the annual insurance program review.
  • Process insurance claims and coordinate with the Legal Department.
  • Review insurance policies and make recommendations regarding terms and limits.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective information exchange.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in corporate finance or treasury.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct corporate treasury experience.
  • CPA, CTP, or CFA certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with web-based banking platforms and treasury workstations.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Self-directed and hands-on approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
  • Proven experience in building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional demeanor and subject matter expertise in global banking products.
  • Experience in international cash management and project management.
