Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled In-Room Dining Manager to be part of the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the In-Room Dining services, ensuring exceptional service quality and guest satisfaction under the direction of the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver warm and engaging service to guests.
- Foster a positive work environment by maintaining high staff morale through effective communication, training, and coaching.
- Manage daily operations of the In-Room Dining service.
- Address guest concerns and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Analyze guest feedback and implement strategies for service enhancement.
- Balance operational and administrative tasks while maintaining a visible presence on the floor.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous training and development for staff.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service at all times.
- Monitor and manage costs associated with In-Room Dining.
- Ensure service adheres to the standards set by SLS Barcelona.
- Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, kitchen, food and beverage, and front desk, to enhance guest experiences.
- Engage in hotel meetings and contribute to overall property objectives.
- Participate in service as needed based on operational requirements.
- Manage inventory for daily service needs.
- Encourage high team morale and a collaborative spirit within the department.
- Innovate and develop new ideas and promotions to boost revenue for In-Room Dining.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A degree focused on Hospitality or Restaurant Management.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities; detail-oriented and analytical.
- Proven leadership skills with a high level of energy and motivation, demonstrating the company's values.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
