Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled In-Room Dining Manager to be part of the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona.

In this role, you will oversee the In-Room Dining operations, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver warm and engaging service to guests.
  • Maintain high staff morale and team spirit through effective communication, training, and coaching.
  • Manage daily operations of the In-Room Dining service.
  • Address guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement enhancements to the In-Room Dining experience.
  • Balance operational, administrative, and team needs while maintaining a strong presence on the floor.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing training and development.
  • Uphold the highest standards of customer service at all times.
  • Monitor and manage costs associated with In-Room Dining.
  • Ensure service aligns with the standards of SLS Barcelona.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, kitchen, food and beverage, and front desk, to enhance guest experiences.
  • Participate in hotel meetings and contribute to property goals and initiatives.
  • Engage in service as needed based on operational requirements.
  • Control inventory for daily operations to meet service demands.
  • Foster high morale and teamwork within the department.
  • Innovate and develop new ideas and promotions to drive revenue for In-Room Dining.

Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
