Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled In-Room Dining Manager to be a pivotal part of our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona.

In this role, you will oversee the In-Room Dining services, ensuring that we deliver unparalleled service and guest satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver warm, genuine, and engaging service to our guests.
  • Ensure exceptional service quality by fostering high staff morale and team spirit through effective communication, training, and coaching.
  • Manage the daily operations of the In-Room Dining service.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement enhancements to improve the In-Room Dining experience.
  • Balance operational, administrative, and team needs while maintaining a strong presence on the floor.
  • Conduct performance assessments and provide continuous training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer service for both internal and external guests.
  • Monitor and manage costs associated with In-Room Dining services.
  • Ensure that service meets the standards set by SLS Barcelona.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including housekeeping, kitchen, food and beverage, and front desk, to coordinate services and enhance the guest experience.
  • Engage in hotel meetings and contribute to overall property objectives and initiatives.
  • Participate in service as needed based on operational requirements.
  • Manage inventory for daily use to meet service demands.
  • Foster a positive team environment and high morale within the department.
  • Innovate and develop new ideas and promotions to drive revenue for In-Room Dining.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A degree focused on Hospitality or Restaurant Management.
  • Over 3 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities; detail-oriented and analytical.
  • A proven track record as a team leader with high energy and motivation, embodying the company's values.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
