Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled In-Room Dining Manager to lead the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver warm, genuine, and engaging service to guests.
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery by fostering high staff morale and team cohesion through proactive communication, training, and mentorship.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the in-room dining service.
  • Address guest concerns and complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement enhancements to improve in-room dining experiences.
  • Balance operational, administrative, and team needs while maintaining a visible presence on the floor.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer service for both internal and external guests.
  • Manage and control costs associated with In-Room Dining services.
  • Ensure that service adheres to the standards set by SLS Barcelona.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including housekeeping, kitchen, food and beverage, and front desk, to coordinate services and enhance guest experiences.
  • Participate in hotel meetings and contribute to overall property goals and initiatives.
  • Assist in service as required based on operational needs.
  • Control inventory for daily use to meet service requirements.
  • Foster high staff morale and team spirit within the department.
  • Innovate and create new ideas and promotions to drive revenue for In-Room Dining.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A degree focused on Hospitality or Restaurant Management.
  • Over 3 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities; detail-oriented and analytical.
  • A proven track record as a team leader with high energy and motivation, embodying the company's values.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
