Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled In-Room Dining Manager to be part of our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. This role is crucial in ensuring that our in-room dining services meet the highest standards of excellence and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver warm, sincere, and engaging service to all guests.
- Foster a positive work environment by maintaining high staff morale and team spirit through effective communication, training, and coaching.
- Oversee the daily operations of the in-room dining service, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Address guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Implement improvements based on guest feedback to elevate the in-room dining experience.
- Balance operational, administrative, and team needs while maintaining a visible presence on the floor.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service at all times.
- Monitor and manage costs and expenses related to in-room dining services.
- Ensure that service adheres to the standards set by SLS Barcelona.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including housekeeping, kitchen, food and beverage, and front desk, to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Participate in hotel meetings and contribute to property goals and initiatives.
- Assist in service as needed to meet operational demands.
- Manage inventory for daily use to ensure service requirements are met.
- Encourage high staff morale and teamwork within the department.
- Innovate and create new ideas and promotions to drive revenue for in-room dining.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A degree focused on Hospitality or Restaurant Management.
- Over 3 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- A proven track record as a team leader, demonstrating high energy and motivation aligned with company values.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
