Chemical Sales Specialist

Thermo Fisher Scientific, a world leader in serving science, is seeking a driven Chemical Sales Specialist to join our UK team. As a key member of our Laboratory Chemicals Division, you will be responsible for representing our brand portfolio to customers and supporting our channel partners.
Key Responsibilities- Product Knowledge: Gain a comprehensive understanding of our chemical brands, including Fisher Chemical, Thermo Scientific, and Fisher BioReagents, to effectively communicate their capabilities to customers.
- Customer Relationships: Build long-term, productive relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement an effective territory sales plan, including a Target Account Plan, to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Channel Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with channel partners, including Fisher Scientific, to support key accounts and drive sales.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on customer visits, pipeline monitoring, and target account progress, analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our presence in the market.
- Commercial Experience: Proven field-based experience in a commercial environment within the chemicals market.
- Education: A university degree in chemistry or a related field.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Accountability: A strong sense of accountability and responsibility, with a focus on delivering results and driving business growth.
