Join Our Team as a Business Intelligence Engineer

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role that offers significant exposure to senior management? Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. is on the lookout for a dedicated Business Intelligence Engineer who possesses robust analytical and technical expertise to enhance performance assessment, foster innovation, and execute strategies within Fulfillment Center Operations.

In this role, you will work in close collaboration with Amazon Operations and data teams. Your primary responsibility will be to create analytical dashboards, develop in-depth tools, and influence product strategies through data, AWS services, and various insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform customer and business needs into innovative BI solutions, showcasing a passion for working with large datasets to drive data-informed decisions and develop models that address critical inquiries from stakeholders.
  • Oversee the intake process, coordinate, and gather requirements from business partners to manage increased data volume and the need for more efficient and scalable data pipelines and technological solutions.
  • Prioritize projects, design, and implement technical solutions adhering to suitable strategies and design principles.
  • Identify, design, and construct data pipelines to support BI tools and dashboards.
  • Develop and define metrics and KPIs, translating them into insightful dashboards utilizing BI tools (e.g., QuickSight).

About Our Team:

The Process and Systems Engineering (PSE) team at Amazon is a collective of operational leaders dedicated to driving process innovation, stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement across all fulfillment centers in the EU, with a particular focus on the Amazon Robotics Fulfillment Center Network.

This team plays a crucial role in establishing top-tier network performance across all operational metrics, accelerating the implementation of technological advancements, and enhancing the technical expertise and process knowledge of operational leaders throughout the fulfillment center network.

As we continue to expand our fulfillment center presence and integrate new talent into our organization, it is essential that our Operations teams are equipped with the necessary functional expertise to successfully achieve the anticipated benefits from technological advancements and network-wide process enhancements.
