Are you ready to take on a pivotal role that engages with key stakeholders? The EU Process Engineering Team is on the lookout for a detail-oriented Data Insights Engineer who possesses robust analytical and technical capabilities to enhance performance evaluation, foster innovation, and ensure effective execution within Fulfillment Centre Operations.

In close collaboration with Amazon Fulfillment Center Operations and data analytics teams, you will be tasked with the creation of analytical dashboards, in-depth analytical tools, and shaping product roadmaps through data, AWS services, and valuable insights.


As a Data Insights Engineer (BIE I), your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the intake process, coordinating, and gathering requirements from business partners to manage increased data volume and the necessity for more cost-effective and scalable data pipelines and technological solutions.
  • Prioritizing projects, designing, and implementing technical solutions aligned with suitable strategies and design principles.
  • Promoting best practices in Operational Excellence.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in SQL, Redshift, metrics development, and dashboard creation utilizing tools such as QuickSight. Proficiency in programming is essential.

You should excel at transforming customer and business opportunities into innovative data solutions and demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for working with large datasets to facilitate data-driven decision-making and construct models that address critical inquiries for our stakeholders.


About the Team

The EU PE is a collective of Process Engineers situated across Europe, proudly integrated within the Ops team. Our mission is to standardize process variations across Fulfillment Centers, guiding, promoting, and scaling cutting-edge best practices at the network level.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience in analyzing and interpreting data using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Experience in data visualization with tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with various industry analytics visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g., t-test, Chi-squared).
  • Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R).
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience in the data/BI domain.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree or an advanced technical degree.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.
  • Experience in statistical analysis and correlation analysis.

Data Project Management:
Demonstrated experience in effectively managing complex data projects, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction of stakeholders.
