Join Our Team as a Business Intelligence Engineer

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role that offers significant exposure to senior leadership? The EU Process & Systems Engineering (PSE) Team is on the lookout for a detail-oriented Business Intelligence Engineer who possesses robust analytical and technical capabilities. Your mission will be to enhance performance evaluation, foster innovation, and ensure effective execution within Fulfillment Center Operations.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Amazon Operations and data teams, focusing on the development of analytics dashboards, in-depth analytical tools, and influencing product roadmaps through data, AWS services, and various insights sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform customer and business needs into innovative BI solutions, showcasing a strong enthusiasm for working with large datasets to facilitate data-driven decisions and create models that address essential inquiries from our stakeholders.
  • Oversee the intake process, coordinate, and gather requirements from business partners to manage increased data volumes and the demand for more efficient and scalable data pipelines and technological solutions.
  • Prioritize projects, design, and implement technical solutions adhering to appropriate strategies and design principles.
  • Identify, design, and construct data pipelines to support BI tools and dashboards.
  • Develop and define metrics and KPIs, translating them into insightful dashboards utilizing BI tools (e.g., QuickSight).

About Our Team:

Amazon is actively seeking Business Intelligence Engineers to join the Process and Systems Engineering (PSE) team. This team comprises operational leaders dedicated to driving process innovation, stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement across all fulfillment centers (FC) in the EU, with a particular emphasis on the Amazon Robotics FC Network.

This team plays a crucial role in establishing best-in-class network performance across all operational metrics, accelerating the implementation of technological advancements, and enhancing the technical expertise and process knowledge of operational leaders throughout the FC network.

As we continue to expand our FC footprint and integrate new talent into our organization, it is essential to equip the Operations teams with the necessary functional expertise to successfully achieve anticipated gains from technological advancements and network-wide process enhancements.
