About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Senior Building Management System (BMS) Specialist to lead and mentor a newly formed team. This position demands a proactive individual with a robust technical background in BMS programming, complemented by outstanding leadership capabilities and business insight.

Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and motivate fellow BMS Specialists, cultivating a collaborative and inventive work atmosphere.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the maintenance, enhancement, and expansion of our global support services.
- Design, execute, and oversee advanced BMS Standard Operating Procedures, policies, specifications, and processes that are scalable worldwide.
- Optimize BMS technologies, IoT platforms, and data analytics related to BMS operations.
- Manage ticket/work order processes and ensure high standards of customer care and quality.
- Analyze BMS data to proactively identify opportunities for optimization, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring a customer-focused approach.

Strategic Insights
Provide management with strategic insights and recommendations regarding BMS trends, improvements, challenges, team skillsets, industry best practices, and emerging technologies. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful execution of BMS initiatives.

Collaboration and Compliance
Work closely with various departments to understand customer requirements, business objectives, and operational needs. Stay updated with industry regulations, standards, and certifications to ensure compliance and optimal performance.

Work Environment
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team. Flexibility to work shifts is essential to provide 24/7 support to BMS customers globally.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Extensive experience in BMS programming and automation within building controls or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of control signals (VDC, mA) and low voltage power (24-AC/DC).
- Ability to integrate and troubleshoot multiple communication protocols such as BACnet, LON, Modbus, and SNMP.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with global project management and multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in cloud-based IoT platforms, data analytics, and visualization tools.
- Certification in relevant programming languages or BMS systems.
