About the Role

Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. - B76 is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Process and Systems Engineering (PSE) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving performance measurement, innovation, and execution in Fulfillment Center Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate Business Opportunities into Data-Driven Solutions: Collaborate with senior leaders and data teams to develop analytics dashboards, deep-dive tools, and influence product roadmaps using data, AWS services, and other insights sources.
  • Manage Data Intake and Requirements: Gather requirements from business partners to handle increased data volume and demand for more cost-efficient and scalable data pipelines and tech solutions.
  • Design and Implement Technical Solutions: Prioritize initiatives, design, and implement technical solutions with appropriate strategies and design principles.
  • Develop Data Pipelines and Metrics: Identify, design, and create data pipelines to feed BI tools and dashboards, and develop metrics and KPIs to translate them into insightful dashboards using BI tools.
About the Team

The PSE team is a group of operational leaders driving process innovation, stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for all Fulfillment Centers in EU, especially focusing on Amazon Robotics FC Network. This team is essential to establish best-in-class network performance across all performance paths, accelerate implementation of technology advancements, and strengthen the technical acumen and process knowledge for operational leaders across the FC network.

Requirements
  • Experience in Data/BI Space: Proven experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Data Visualization and SQL Skills: Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools, and experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
  • AWS Solutions and Data Modeling: Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift, and experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Statistical Analysis and Data Mining: Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab, and experience in data mining, ETL, etc.
