Transforming Last Mile Delivery with Central Operations

Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Central Operations team. This key strategic initiative aims to transform the way we execute route planning, scheduling, and last mile delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enable data-driven decision making by aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into actionable insights
  • Partner with analysts and BI engineers to build analytical solutions that deliver on business goals
  • Develop business metrics for senior management reviews and design data infrastructure to support business growth
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify variances in key parameters
  • Harness data to create business requirements documents and guide technology requests
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or equivalent
  • Demonstrable relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, and statistical analysis tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or equivalent
  • Direct experience using business intelligence reporting tools (Quicksight, Tableau, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Redshift and/or database management in AWS
  • Previous experience in creating detailed Business Requirement Documentation
