Are you looking for a pivotal role that engages with senior leadership? The EU Process Engineering Team is on the lookout for a detail-oriented Business Intelligence Engineer who possesses robust analytical and technical expertise to enhance performance evaluation, foster innovation, and execute strategies within Fulfillment Centre Operations.

In close collaboration with Amazon Fulfillment Center Operations and data teams, you will take charge of crafting analytical dashboards, developing in-depth tools, and shaping product roadmaps through data insights, AWS services, and analytical findings.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the intake process, coordinating, and gathering requirements from business stakeholders to manage the increasing data volume and the necessity for more efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Prioritizing projects, designing, and implementing technical solutions with suitable strategies and design principles.
  • Promoting best practices in Operational Excellence.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate significant experience in SQL, Redshift, metrics development, and dashboard creation utilizing tools such as QuickSight. Proficiency in programming is essential.

You should excel at converting customer and business opportunities into innovative business intelligence solutions and show a passion for working with large datasets to drive data-informed decisions and construct models that address vital questions for our stakeholders.


About the Team:

The EU PE team consists of Process Engineers located throughout Europe, proudly part of the Operations team. Our mission is to standardize processes across Fulfillment Centers, guiding, promoting, and scaling cutting-edge best practices at the network level.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, or similar.
  • Experience with various industry analytics visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g., t-test, Chi-squared).
  • Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R).
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience in the data/BI domain.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree or an advanced technical degree.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and pipeline design.
  • Experience in statistical analysis and correlation analysis.

Data Project Management:

Demonstrated experience in effectively managing complex data projects, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction of stakeholders.
