About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Process Control Engineer to join our team at Rockwell Automation. As a key member of our custom application delivery team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced analytics and model predictive control solutions to improve our customers' manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess customer processes and develop mathematical models to predict system behavior
  • Configure online applications to calculate process setpoints and dynamically control product quality, production capacity, and energy usage
  • Lead technical project activities, including design, system integration, installation, data analysis, and application development
  • Identify and resolve technical issues that impact project performance
  • Provide product, engineering, and application support to existing customers
  • Perform system and application health checks, performance analyses, and develop reports to document findings and recommendations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or other engineering with a focus on modeling, statistics, or process control
  • Strong interest in automation, process control, and advanced model-predictive applications
  • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience in leading complex projects in a process industry
  • Experience with instrumentation, industrial control systems, and supervisory control applications
