Key Account Manager Poultry Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager Poultry to join our team at Phibro Animal Health. As a Key Account Manager Poultry, you will be responsible for managing key customer relationships and driving business growth in the poultry industry.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve budgeted sales and gross margin targets.
  2. Provide technical support to customers, key influencers, and end users to ensure proper use of products.
  3. Collaborate with local distributors to drive demand creation, technical service, training, and sales support.
  4. Monitor industry trends and competitive activity, and provide guidance to the Species Business Manager.
  5. Attend customer events and connect with relevant Key Opinion Leaders.
  6. Strengthen relationships by following strategic account management principles and behaviors.
  7. Communicate Phibro's pricing policy and other relevant business information to customers.
  8. Forecast customer demand to anticipate supply requirements and ensure a positive customer experience.
  9. Comply with Phibro's policies and lead with a high level of integrity.
  10. Frequent travel required within the assigned territory and occasional international travel up to a maximum of 25%.

Requirements

  • Must have a Degree in Veterinary medicine, Nutritional or other relevant animal science degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in animal health and established poultry network.
  • Commercial acumen with technical orientation (poultry field technical experience preferred).
  • Ability to self-manage daily activities and responsibilities.
  • Teamwork mindset to connect with European and global colleagues.
  • Conversational English level.
