Join Our Team as a Technical Specialist in Electrical Repair and Refurbishment

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Specialist to join our team at Siemens Gamesa. As a key member of our Repair Engineering team, you will play a critical role in the development and creation of technical specifications and supplier homologation for repairs and refurbishments of electrical and electronic components.

About the Role

As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and creating repair/refurbishment technical specifications and test specifications for electrical and electronic components, including motors, sensors, PLC/control devices, and electronic cards.
  • Screening and validating new repair solutions to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Identifying opportunities for reducing inventory for minor electrical and electronic components through technical assessment.
  • Collaborating with global service departments to align on priorities and ensure seamless execution.
  • Supporting the quality team during the qualification process of new workshops worldwide.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A broad and practical experience in engineering, with a focus on electrical and electronic systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team.
  • Advanced English skills, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A willingness to travel, with at least 40 days per year expected.
