We are seeking an experienced engineer to play a vital role in the formulation and establishment of technical specifications and supplier validation for the repair and refurbishment of electrical and electronic components.

As part of our newly formed Repair Engineering team, you will collaborate closely with the Service department, Global Overhaul Solutions, and various regional teams to support our operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and establish technical specifications for the repair and refurbishment of electrical and electronic components, including motors, sensors, PLC/control devices, and electronic cards.
  • Evaluate and validate new repair methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels for minor electrical and electronic components through technical evaluations.
  • Collaborate with global service departments to ensure alignment on project priorities.
  • Assist the quality assurance team during the qualification process of new workshops worldwide.

Qualifications:

  • A strong background in engineering with practical experience is essential.
  • Candidates should be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and customer-focused.
  • A practical approach and relevant experience are critical for success in this role.
  • Experience working with international teams and navigating diverse corporate cultures is important.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required for effective communication in our global environment.
  • Willingness to travel, with an expectation of at least 40 travel days per year to visit suppliers, workshops, and sites.
