General Insurance is a prominent provider of insurance solutions catering to both commercial and personal insurance clients. General Insurance presents a wide variety of products to customers through a diversified, multichannel distribution framework.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

The Client & Broker Engagement Executive in Spain will play a pivotal role in achieving AIG Spain's objectives for sustainable growth across broker and client segments. This will involve driving growth strategies within the local market in collaboration with various product lines and functions. The Executive will cultivate and sustain fruitful, long-term relationships with key executives from global brokers and Risk Managers among clients.

  • Foster and maintain relationships with:

- Key stakeholders across AIG in Spain to ensure alignment with products and various functions within the organization.

- Broker executives to develop and monitor business initiatives.

- Client Risk Managers to understand client demands and work towards effective solutions.

  • Formulate strategies for brokers and clients, coordinating with different departments to ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the Ease of Trade and manage daily business matters related to customers and brokers.
  • Serve as the executive escalation point for operational issues, addressing client concerns and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain robust pipeline management and business planning.
  • Identify and cultivate cross-selling opportunities for additional products and services.
  • Oversee designated ad-hoc projects.
  • Keep abreast of industry groups and their challenges while being aware of AIG's appetite for these sectors.
  • Collaborate based on team goals and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in similar roles within the insurance sector (Distribution/Sales department with a focus on Commercial Insurance).
  • Experience in managing relationships with brokers and clients (CBE).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Law is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to influence clients, peers, and processes effectively.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Power BI is a plus.
