Role Overview:
The General Manager position is a newly introduced role at RA, aimed at propelling the growth and performance of the organization across Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal during a pivotal phase of expansion. This role is essential for achieving comprehensive business goals and ensuring overall success in these regions by collaborating closely with local teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance performance and output of all team initiatives by taking ownership of local KPIs across commercial, growth, and content sectors.
- Collaborate with the Growth team to implement the International Strategy within Southern Europe, directly overseeing the local GCN team.
- Manage full P&L responsibilities for the Southern Europe team’s revenues (RA Pro) and expenses (including headcount, operational costs, and overheads).
- Establish and nurture key market relationships across commercial, cultural, and creative sectors.
- Supervise the local Commercial/Revenue team, providing mentorship and training to meet commercial objectives.
- Oversee office management, including personnel, operations, physical spaces, and workplace culture in conjunction with the People and Culture team.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to all staff within the Southern Europe team.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of all company products and services while recognizing their effective application in local contexts.
- Represent Southern Europe within the broader company framework, advocating for necessary changes in Product, Revenue, People, Support, and Content to enhance business success in the region.
- Analyze the local competitive landscape to refine product offerings and identify new opportunities.
- Diagnose operational challenges within the platform locally and collaborate with global teams to devise effective solutions for growth and efficiency improvements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Deeply embedded within the Southern Europe scene with an extensive existing network.
- A strong passion for electronic music coupled with a profound understanding of the industry.
- Demonstrated success in a managerial capacity with over 4 years of management experience.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and delegation abilities.
- Outstanding skills in relationship-building and client service.
- Familiarity with digital media and advertising landscapes.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead teams while ensuring accountability.
- Understanding of People and HR requirements pertinent to Southern Europe operations.
- Fluency in written and spoken Spanish, French, and English is essential for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A history of meeting and surpassing revenue targets.
- Experience with P&L ownership.
- Understanding of digital media and advertising principles.
- Fluency in written and spoken Italian or Portuguese is advantageous.
