About the Role

As a Business Development Specialist at GMV, you will play a key role in driving business growth in the Security and Defense market. Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for implementing innovative approaches to the sales process, including negotiation and client management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze industry trends to suggest improvements and/or expansion of GMV's current product and service line.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, maintaining regular contact with clients.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, collaborating with the Marketing department for advertising purposes.
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals for new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate commercial contracts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Represent GMV at trade shows, conferences, and other events, as well as in meetings with national and international clients.
Requirements

We are seeking business development experts with training and interest in this area. A solid background in engineering and the Security and Defense sector is also essential, with experience in:

  • Business development management, sales representation, or sales support engineering.
  • Knowledge of the Defense and Security industry and market in Spain and internationally.
  • Proposal preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Effective communication of complex technical issues, with strong presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in both English and Spanish.
