About the Role

As a Business Development Specialist at GMV, you will play a key role in driving business growth in the Security and Defense market. Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for implementing innovative approaches to the sales process, including negotiation and client management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze industry trends to suggest improvements and/or expansion of SED-GMV's current product and service line.
  • Early detection of opportunities and regular contact with clients.
  • Prepare presentations and collaborate with the Marketing department for advertising purposes.
  • Participate in the preparation of proposals for new business opportunities.
  • Conduct and complete negotiations of commercial contracts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Represent GMV at trade shows, conferences, and other events, as well as in meetings with national and international clients.
Requirements

We are looking for business development experts with training and interest in this area. A solid background in engineering and the Security and Defense sector is also essential, demonstrating experience in:

  • Experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Representative, or Sales Support Engineer.
  • Knowledge of the Defense and Security industry and market in Spain and internationally.
  • Experience in preparing proposals and negotiating commercial contracts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues, with effective presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in both English and Spanish.
