Our Team

We are a global company with presence in 20 countries and over 3,000 employees worldwide. Our office in Sant Cugat is part of the SMA Group, offering project management, technical solutions, and service sales to customers in Spain and Portugal.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term business relationships with professional operators in the PV sector.
  • Grow the assigned regional area through visits to installers and professionals in the electrical and photovoltaic industry sector to increase SMA Sales profits.
  • Classify generated contacts and keep clients' contacts and opportunities pipeline up to date in the database (Sales Force).
  • Develop SMA's presence on the market through the retention of design studios.
  • Discover new business opportunities (large plants and/or local incentive programs) linked to the territory.
  • Collect commercial data about the Spanish market (for example, related to competition and market trends).
  • Attend events promoted with distributors and company roadshows to broadcast knowledge of SMA products and technologies.

Requirements

  • Engineering or similar technical degrees.
  • Availability to travel: 80% of your time.
  • Experience/knowledge in low voltage installations.
  • Valuable in photovoltaic installations.
  • High technical English adapted to understand information from the factory and translate presentations.
  • Team worker.
  • Domain/use of the Office package and Salesforce.
