FX Dealer Role
Location: Ebury Madrid - Office based 4 days a week with 1 day of flexible remote work
We are seeking an FX Dealer for our Madrid Office, who possesses proven trading experience and outstanding sales capabilities.
Our Dealers are pivotal to our success. They deliver expert and tailored advice to our clients, assisting them in realizing their international business aspirations while providing strategies to mitigate foreign exchange risks. They plan, structure, and execute transactions, ensuring clients receive optimal value while contributing to Ebury's growth.
Top-performing Dealers often advance to leadership roles, training and inspiring the next generation of Dealers to excel in their positions.
In your role as an FX Dealer, you will:
Manage a portfolio of corporate clients across various products, including FX hedging, lending, and cash management. Execute FX transactions (SPOT, FWD, NDF, etc.) with multiple liquidity providers, utilizing various trading platforms, including Bloomberg and Reuters. Collaborate with sales teams to support business development. Understand clients' business environments, strategies, and industries to provide tailored solutions. Analyze competitors' capabilities and gaps to effectively position Ebury's banking solutions. Achieve dealer-specific KPIs, including generating repeat and new business revenues, reducing client churn, upselling high-margin products, and increasing wallet share. Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings. Expand existing business and provide insights to technology and product managers. Generate new business through networking with current clients for referrals.Required Qualifications:
Significant experience in Financial Services sales (sales/relationship management role). A network of contacts would be advantageous. Experience in a commercial banking environment (or similar) selling to SMEs is desirable. Relevant experience in FX specialization or cash management is also beneficial. Familiarity with compliance requirements. A background in business or finance is preferred.Desired Skills and Attributes:
Fluent in Spanish with a professional level of English. Demonstrated ability to bring enthusiasm, energy, and motivation to a sales organization. Proven track record of surpassing sales targets and achieving market share objectives. Comfortable with a phone-based sales approach. Excellent communication skills, capable of securing commitment and buy-in. Ability to develop sales strategies and techniques based on customer feedback and market conditions; effectively present key selling points and benefits while focusing on customer needs. Skilled negotiator, able to cultivate and leverage relationships at senior levels. Quick learner, particularly with systems; strong analytical skills. #LI-HB1
