Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Gartner Careers. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in a designated geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and Develop New Business: Identify key buying centers in companies that are not currently purchasing Gartner Research and develop strategic relationships to drive revenue growth.
- Drive Sales Growth: Demonstrate key standard methodologies to drive and successfully sell new business opportunities, and achieve and exceed quota.
- Build and Manage Relationships: Build and effectively manage a list of new individuals and clients to drive business development, and collaborate with internal resources and external networks to prioritize and penetrate key accounts.
- Develop Strategic Relationships: Identify key decision makers and develop strategic relationships to drive revenue growth, and utilize account planning and time management tools to drive an increase in research revenue to an assigned quota.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of proven consultative sales experience in high technology to large multinational companies.
- Skills: Ability to build credibility quickly with new clients and develop relationships at the highest level, confirmed experience in prospecting and developing new business, and proven experience in closing enterprise-wide complex sales solutions.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others, and ability to articulate a strong value proposition of Research at the executive level.
- Technology Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers, and intermediate to advanced competence in Excel.
