Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Iberia Project Delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will support the Head of Project Delivery in the construction activities of our portfolio in Spain.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Management: Plan, monitor, and manage the project scope, including program, budget, staff organization, quality, and contract conformance, throughout the procurement and construction stages.
  2. Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate the integrated working of project workstreams, including construction management, technical management, project controls, investment, procurement, HSSE, quality assurance, and legal.
  3. Compliance and Optimization: Ensure compliance with our Capital Project Model processes and reporting, and ensure the techno-economic optimization of project outcomes.
  4. Change and Risk Management: Implement change, quality, risk, and HSSE management procedures, and manage contract claims and change order requests.
  5. Project Handovers: Manage project handovers between EPC and O&M, and ensure project compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes, and standards.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Manage communication and coordination between project stakeholders, including internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate service provider and equipment supplier agreements and EPC and O&M contracts.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Keep up to date with PV plant technology and market developments.
  3. Team Collaboration: Contribute to team operations, continuous improvement, and R&D.
  4. Representation: Represent Empresa Reconocida when engaging with project stakeholders and market contacts.

Requirements

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical, industrial, civil, or mechanical engineering.
  2. Experience: At least 7 years' work experience in a project manager capacity in the context of utility-scale energy infrastructure, and at least 4 years' specific experience in the utility-scale solar PV sector.
  3. Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and verbal), and other languages will be considered a plus.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
