Amazon Web Services (AWS) is actively enhancing our remote sales capabilities to foster growth within our Small and Medium Business sector.


As an Account Executive at AWS, your role encompasses the utilization of acquisition strategies and targeted campaigns aimed at increasing the consumption of both existing and new AWS services.


This position involves a full sales-cycle with quota responsibilities, where you will leverage your sales and technical expertise to proactively engage with customers, facilitating their transition to cloud solutions.


To fully exploit the innovative and scalable services provided by AWS, you will collaborate with internal resources to assist customers in achieving their strategic goals while adapting to evolving market dynamics.

The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team is dedicated to driving revenue, adoption, and growth across a spectrum of accounts, from small and mid-market to enterprise-level clients, including those in the public sector.


The AWS Global Support team engages with leading organizations, recognizing that exceptional support is vital for customer success. Additionally, AWS Support collaborates with a global array of clients developing mission-critical applications utilizing AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth and expansion within a designated territory.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan.
  • Manage multiple accounts concurrently and over the long term.
  • Communicate compelling value propositions regarding AWS services.
  • Accelerate customer adoption of AWS solutions.
  • Collaborate with partners to extend reach, drive adoption, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience in technology account/territory management, business development, or sales engineering/consulting.
  • College/University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Target-driven individual with remote account management experience in B2B environments.
  • Prior experience in an Account Manager capacity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A technical background in engineering, computer science, or Management Information Systems (MIS) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is desirable.
  • Insights into the SMB ecosystem regarding cloud solutions, channel development, and key market stakeholders in the Middle East SMB segment.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is advantageous.
