About the Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is actively enhancing our remote sales capabilities to foster growth among a diverse range of Small and Medium Businesses.


As an Account Executive within AWS, your primary responsibility will be to utilize your acquisition expertise and implement targeted campaigns aimed at increasing the usage of both existing and new AWS services.


This position encompasses a full sales-cycle with quota responsibilities, where you will leverage your sales and technical knowledge to proactively assist our clients in accelerating their transition to cloud solutions.


To fully leverage the innovation and extensive services offered by AWS, you will engage internal resources to collaborate with clients in achieving their strategic goals while adapting to evolving market dynamics.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is dedicated to driving revenue, adoption, and growth across a spectrum of clients, from small and mid-market businesses to large enterprise customers, including those in the public sector.


The AWS Global Support team collaborates with leading organizations, recognizing that exceptional support is vital for customer success. Our support team also partners with a global clientele that is developing mission-critical applications utilizing AWS services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth and expansion within a designated territory.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive territory strategy.
  • Manage multiple accounts concurrently with a long-term perspective.
  • Articulate compelling value propositions regarding AWS services.
  • Facilitate customer adoption of AWS solutions.
  • Collaborate with partners to extend reach, drive adoption, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Occasional travel to client locations may be required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in technology account/territory management, business development, or sales engineering/consulting.
  • College/University Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Target-driven individual with experience in remote account management for B2B clients.
  • Prior experience in an Account Manager capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A technical background in engineering, computer science, or Management Information Systems (MIS) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is desirable.
  • Insights into the SMB ecosystem regarding cloud solutions, channel development, and key market stakeholders in the Middle East SMB segment.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
