About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is expanding its remote sales function to drive growth across a set of AWS' Small and Medium Businesses. As an Account Executive at AWS, you will be responsible for exercising acquisition skills, utilizing solution-specific targeted campaigns to help grow consumption of current and net-new AWS services. In this full sales-cycle quota carrying role, you will use your sales and technical experience to work proactively with our customers to accelerate their journey to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory.
  • Develop and execute against a territory plan.
  • Manage numerous accounts concurrently and long-term.
  • Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Occasional travel to customer sites.

Requirements

  • A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS is advantageous.
  • Literacy in Salesforce is desirable.
  • Insights about the SMB ecosystem in terms of cloud solutions, channel development, main market Middle East SMB segment stakeholders, and trends.
  • English and Arabic language fluency.
