Europe Market Manager

Mettler Toledo AG is seeking a seasoned professional to drive sales growth of our Laboratory instrumentation portfolio in the assigned European markets.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of commercial management and sales growth in the life sciences sector, with a strong understanding of the European market landscape.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing specific growth plans to boost sales and market share growth through established partners (distributors) in the life sciences sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Commercial Strategy Development: Evaluate, develop, and implement commercial strategies to drive sales growth and increase market share in the assigned European markets.
  2. Partner Management: Manage and support local partners (distributors) in the development of commercial programs, including seminars, customer trainings, and local marketing campaigns.
  3. Key Account Management: Manage key accounts in the assigned countries, in coordination with our global Key Account teams, to ensure that these accounts are properly managed and aligned with our commercial strategy.
  4. Sales Team Support: Ensure that our partners' sales teams have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively promote and sell our Laboratory instrumentation solutions.
  5. Training and Development: Propose and manage training activities to ensure that our partners' sales teams are up-to-date on our solutions and can effectively communicate their value to customers.
  6. Operational Support: Provide operational support to the departments involved in billing and collection, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of commercial management and sales growth in the life sciences sector.
  • Strong understanding of the European market landscape and commercial strategies.
  • Ability to develop and implement commercial strategies to drive sales growth and increase market share.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
