About the Role

KWS Vegetables is seeking a Product Development Manager to join our team in Murcia Region, Spain. This is a full-time and permanent role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new assortment for PMCs on local and country level
  • Implement Crop/PMC Trial plan in line with global crop trial plan
  • Member of local crop team(s); give input crop strategy, market-customer intelligence
  • Support development and maintenance product profiles
  • Advise on and support introduction strategies
  • Ensure implementation/alignment trial calendar
Performance Indicators
  • Quality Trialplan, design and execution
  • Successful introductions
  • Define growing protocols and growing concepts before commercial launching.
Your Profile
  • Requires a minimum of a B.S. in Agronomy or Horticulture
  • 3+ years of experience in the vegetable seed industry is preferred
  • Fluent English in word and writing, additional language(s) are an advantage
  • Ability to think and act at different levels, prepared to put "boots on the ground"
  • Analytical and Result Oriented "we make it happen" mentality
