Role Overview:

The General Manager is a newly established position at RA, tasked with spearheading growth and enhancing performance across Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal during a dynamic phase of the company's expansion. This role is crucial for achieving comprehensive business objectives and ensuring overall success in these regions by collaborating closely with local teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance performance and output of all team initiatives by taking ownership of local KPIs related to commercial, growth, and content.
  • Collaborate with the Growth team to implement the International Strategy locally in Southern Europe, directly overseeing the local GCN team.
  • Assume full P&L responsibility for Southern Europe's team revenues (RA Pro) and expenses (including headcount, operating costs, and overheads).
  • Establish and maintain essential market relationships across commercial, cultural, and creative sectors.
  • Oversee the local Commercial/Revenue team, providing mentorship and training to meet commercial targets.
  • Manage office dynamics, including people, operations, physical spaces, and culture, in conjunction with the People and Culture team.
  • Provide pastoral support and oversight to all team members in Southern Europe.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all company products and services while recognizing local application nuances.
  • Represent Southern Europe within the broader company framework, advocating for necessary changes in Product, Revenue, People, Support, and Content to ensure success in the region.
  • Analyze the local competitive landscape to enhance product offerings and identify opportunities.
  • Diagnose operational challenges locally and collaborate with global teams to devise effective solutions for growth and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Deeply embedded within the Southern Europe scene with an extensive existing network.
  • A genuine passion for electronic music and a thorough understanding of the industry.
  • Demonstrated success in a managerial capacity with a minimum of 4 years of management experience.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
  • Outstanding relationship-building and client-service abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital media and advertising.
  • Proven capability to motivate and lead teams while holding them accountable.
  • Understanding of People and HR requirements pertinent to Southern Europe operations.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Spanish, French, and English is essential for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience with P&L ownership.
  • Understanding of digital media and advertising.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Italian or Portuguese is advantageous.

This is a full-time permanent role based in our Madrid office, with an expectation of in-office presence a minimum of three days a week. The expected salary range is €55,000 to €65,000 plus commission.
