Production Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our dynamic and fast-paced Supply Chain Planning team at Europastry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and planning production schedules to ensure the service level and the efficiency of the plants within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve the Service Level KPI by developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure that products are produced in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate production activities with other departments, such as purchasing, inventory, and quality, to ensure that production schedules are aligned with supply chain needs.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing requirements or delays.
- Contribute to achieve OEE KPI of the production plants through anticipating and preventing last-minute changes in production.
- Detect capacity gaps and elaborate scenarios in order to anticipate and prevent capacity challenges in our production plants.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure the service level.
- Communicate proactively within Customer Service and Sales departments about any possible unforeseen event that could affect the service.
- Detect deviations in the forecast to escalate it to the demand planning team to get new insights about the market behavior.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in demand/production planning.
- Fluent Spanish and English oral and written skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passionate and team player.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with production planning software is a plus.
