Job Summary
Covestro Ag is seeking a highly skilled Production Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Integrated Planning & Supply team, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling production activities to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules, taking into account available resources, sequencing rules, and campaign size.
- Adjust schedules to manage around obstacles such as material shortages, delivery delays, and quality misses.
- Communicate changes to relevant stakeholders, including Operations, Order Management, Transport Management, and Procurement.
- Ensure raw materials are ordered to support production schedules.
- Monitor and coordinate with stakeholders to reduce, update timings, and status in SAP.
- Keep stock levels on agreed targets and maintain master data up to date in SAP.
- Arrange stock transfers of finished goods to off-site warehouses.
- Provide support and back-up for other planners in the Integrated Planning & Supply team.
- Offer alternatives for OTIF missed sales orders and propose measures to improve performance.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Business Related.
- 3+ years of relevant experience as Business Expert or Production Supervisor or in Supply Chain.
- Good communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of and high experience with SAP or high affinity with technology.
- Experience with S&OP and ability to troubleshoot problems in system.
- Proven ability to drive for results and achieve goals.
- Experience to manage across multiple interfaces/systems.
- Good English level (B2/C1).
