Creative Account Strategy Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Account Strategy Manager to join our team at Boston Consulting Group. As a valued member of our Design Studios division, you will play a critical role in driving business development and client solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Manage stakeholders across your accounts, implementing holistic account strategy and planning with other Design Studios stakeholders. Contribute to process development and best practices, interfacing with other department leads to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and identify and deliver new solutions for clients.
- Client Leadership: Collaborate with other teams to create and implement go-to-market strategy plans, measuring and reporting on the impact generated by go-to-market initiatives. Develop and foster account relationships, working towards account growth and high retention within a defined portfolio of accounts.
- Business Development: Collaborate and co-lead proposals with subject matter experts, writing and concept statements of work. Develop in-depth understanding of resources and processes involved in design-driven solutions, such as service design, communication branding strategies, and 360 campaigns.
- Teaming: Lead teams to define engagement objectives, set key performance metrics, and establish the engagement approach. Manage and mentor more junior team members from across different geographies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, or similar degree in design or a field related to communication, such as journalism, marketing, etc.
- At least 6 years of experience in a creative multinational company or professional services environment, with two or more years of team management experience.
- Strong experience in key account management and client direction.
- Excellent understanding of design and design thinking principles, with the ability to balance creative quality with delivery expectations.
- Ability to help the client services team grow client relationships through strategic recommendations and empathetic consulting.
- Experience in contributing to a broader team's process refinement and cross-team collaboration.
- Excellent English and German language skills.
