Sr Sales Development Manager Pharma/biotech

What you will do:
- Collaborate with the Life Sciences Pharma and Biotech Business development directors and set up practical methods to roll out pipeline growth campaigns that support the strategic plan.
- Coordinate Worldwide Sales development efforts by working together with the regional Sales development teams and Sales Account teams
- Collect, document and measure best practices as established by the Regional Sales development teams
- Collaborate with the commercial excellence teams to create the best toolsets to support the regional Sales development teams
- Analyze and propose new Sales development methods used by peers inside and outside the Company.
- Perform monthly pipeline reviews and report out to the Life Sciences management team.
- Manage specific campaign rollouts with the Global Sales Force.
- Organize workshops and site visits targeting new customers
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategy, and find opportunities for increasing customer and business value through product positioning and differentiation.
- Timely feedback product marketing management about market trends and competitive updates
- Work closely with the sales organization to capture business by providing unique sales strategies & value propositions, especially with high value and complex deals
**How you will get here**
Education
- Academic Degree in chemistry or life sciences, material sciences, or engineering, and 3 - 7 years of professional experience in a Pharma/Biotech commercial environment will be considered
- Structural Biology, protein sciences or Biochemistry background preferred
Experience
- Managing sales strategy
- Identify creative and innovative solutions
- Build relationships, drive results and make ethical decisions
- Track record in delivering results and holding self-accountable
- Good level of business acumen and commercial excellence
- Demonstrates solution expertise and focus on value creation
- Sales Development of Capital Equipment highly desired
- Setting up webinars, workshops
- Experience with Digital Marketing tools and platforms
- Experience with customer relation management systems (CRM’s)

- Ability to generate pipeline and business opportunity leads
- Ability to sell strategic and new products to existing and new customers
- Ability to increase our market share by generating new business leads
- Ability to synthesize and integrate customer and colleague insights, draw conclusions/implications, and translate information into product requirements, portfolio strategies, and business recommendations.
