Overview:
**Job Description**:
Combine your strong sales management experience and passion for healthcare as Regional Sales Manager for the north of Spain (including Bilbao, Vigo, Santiago, A Coruna etc.) at Applied Medical. In this exciting field position, you will manage a team of Territory Managers and co-travel with them from your home to their customers in the various hospitals of the area. The focus will be on leading and coaching the team and supporting them in developing sales in the region. With your excellent management capacities, you will give the necessary coaching, training, and guidance to the team. Moreover, you will analyze business trends, identify, and prioritize opportunities as well as formulate sales strategies to achieve sales numbers. In addition, you will engage with all executive-level customers in clinical and procurement environments.

You will report to the Sales Manager

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, coach, train, guide and motivate Territory Managers to achieve the sales targets for their region
- Create sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas
- Co-travel to hospitals and have regular one-on-one meetings to help your team with current issues, ensure proper project planning and prioritization of sales opportunities
- Establish specific and measurable objectives to review performance, individual development and to provide a clear base for team member recognition
- Identify/facilitate tender opportunities in close cooperation with the tender stakeholders to enhance success with public procurement demands
- Arrange appointments and keep strong relationships with involved stakeholders; executive and senior physicians, Operation Room (OR) personnel, Key Opinion Leaders, and other decision-makers in hospital purchasing Decision Making Unit
- Follow new developments in the national healthcare landscape

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree or equivalent qualifications/level of performing
- Experience leading a team (managing direct reports)
- Demonstrated success in sales within surgical device sales, or similar
- Oral and written communication skills in Spanish (excellent) and English (good)
- Enthusiastic to be in the field to inspire the team members to reach a high level of performance
- Strategic thinker with great communication skills
- Living in the indicated sales region
