About the location:The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and backed by panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and the surrounding landscapes, the hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate. Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in June 2024.

About Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor:
The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and backed by panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and the surrounding landscapes, the hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate. Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in mid-2024.
The resort will have a total of 109 rooms and suites, culinary experiences, including a signature restaurant, a beachfront restaurant and café, and a poolside bar and grill, events space, spa and fitness facilities, direct access to the beach, adult pool access to the beach, adult pool and vitality pool, Kids for All Seasons, and a wine tasting experience in the vineyards.
The Role of Engineering Manager:
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our pre-opening Four Seasons Hotel Mallorca at Formentor, Spain
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the hotel, building maintenance, and landscaping; including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, painting, carpentry, structural, recycling, ground care, parking areas, outsourced gardening team, fire, and safety. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all inquiries are responded to in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to deliver the highest of standards consistently and to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and employees.
Responsibilities will include talent leadership and development, ensuring execution and follow up of work, preparing requisitions for purchase and work orders, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, evaluating meter readings and consumption, and supporting the Safety Committee and the energy conservation program.
Our Ideal Engineering Manager candidate will have:
Hotel opening experience and expert technical knowledge of general building maintenance and environmental standards.
Additionally, you will be a passionate and motivated leader with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strategic, analytical and strong business acumen, an eye for detail, a passion for service, and a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities. Previous pre-opening experience is essential.
Fluency in Spanish and English is a must for this location, along with eligibility to work in Mallorca.
