About the location:The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and backed by panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and the surrounding landscapes, the hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate. Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in June 2024.
About the role
We are currently looking for a talented and dynamic Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our pre-opening team.
What you will do
Assist with all office sales efforts, to include responding to general inquiries and client requests in a timely manner, to respond to all telephone and walk in inquiries regarding hotel bookings and maintain an active trace/follow-up system on all personal sales calls.
Assist with active solicitation and book group business from various sources of leads. Conduct all sales related interactions with the highest level of professionalism while maintaining specified Four Seasons standards.
Work in synergy with the Sales Manager and Director of Marketing; assist clients in the absence of the Sales Managers.
Coordinate and assist with customer events, sales appointments, site visit preparation and ability to stand-in on behalf of Sales Managers. The ability to develop creative and attractive presentations for potential clients.
Assist in developing and executing projects to increase volume and profit.
Conduct tours of property to meeting planners and other potential customers while informing of all hotel services available; entertain customers on property, during site inspections, pre-planning trips, and program operation when appropriate.
Work closely with conference services and catering through execution of definite program; keep the events teams and Planning Committee promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matter so prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate.
Negotiate contract specifics to achieve maximum profitability while satisfying customer needs.
Excellent knowledge of account management system to achieve FS minimum standards, while utilizing as an account/organizational tool; have a working knowledge of local and regional competition.
Assist the Sales Managers in the daily communication with agencies and clients and preparation of proposals and contracts.
Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs.
Collaborate with the appropriate Department in respect of individual clients and group’s rooming list, special arrangements, any F&B requirements, transfer and transport, account and billing instructions.
Update on a regular basis preferred partners websites and extranets and provide collateral to travel trade partners
Participate in sales meetings and marketing meetings as required
Cooperate with the Accounting department in respect of client account instructions and other administrative tasks and with Purchasing Department for Purchase Orders.
What you bring
3 to 5 years’ experience directly related to high-end/upscale luxury hotel sales.
Requires strong communication/presentation skills, both verbal and written with an ability to engage in virtual web settings as well as in person.
Knowledge of Salesforce, Opera and/or customer management systems preferred.
Knowledge of hotel operations preferred.
Strong detail orientation including a keen understanding of anticipatory service when working with high expectation guests.
Job may require flexible hours based on schedule of events.

Schedule & Hours:
Full time contract, 40 hours per week
