About the location:The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and backed by panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and the surrounding landscapes, the hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate. Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in June 2024.

About the role

Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor is looking for a pastry chef to join our pre-opening team. Our ideal candidate is an essential member of the Food and Beverage team, dedicated to providing outstanding quality and service to our guests by preparing pastry orders for all hotel outlets, in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment. What you will do

Contributing to the production of all pastry orders for all hotel outlets, under the direction of the Pastry Chef.

Using, cleaning, and maintaining all pastry equipment in perfect condition.

Managing and prioritizing tasks during the shift.

Assisting the pastry chef and the sous chef with any required tasks.

Working in an orderly and clean manner, keeping work areas in line with health standards.

Assisting in the production and maintenance of partial stocks of dough, sponge cakes, ice creams, etc., as determined by the pastry chef.

What you bring

Our ideal candidate possesses excellent teamwork skills. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are required. Experience in culinary and pastry arts, basic knowledge of kitchen tools and culinary operations, as well as competent knife skills are also necessary. The position requires candidates who are able to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Spain and be fluent in Spanish.
