Your missions:

The Account Manager manages the development, sales and marketing of Tereos’s co product. Such as comprising fibres, proteins, corn germs, starches, sweeteners, polyols and probiotics to Animal Nutrition. The Sales Area Scope is Southern Europe.
Position Location : Zaragoza (Spain) / Hybrid home office – on site with regular Moussy-le-vieux (France) meetings

Your day-to-day activities:

Agility, creativity, autonomy will be your daily environment to :

1. Manage, maintain, develop & keep on going the business

Implement commercial strategy and policy of the company Be the interface in between our customers & our production units Manage its own area to insure sales/ co products production adequation Negotiate volumes, prices, terms and conditions with existing and potential customers in the defined area / scope Provide technical support to customers / understanding of our production specifications Pro-actively promote and introduce new products to existing and potential customers Develop an excellent knowledge of his/her customer portfolio Coordinate with internal functions, quality and supply chain departments, for the best customer & co product production to insure the right execution level Sensibility to sustainability & decarbonization projects in Animal Nutrition giving new Business opportunities 

2. Manage the Sales Processes

Analyse and optimize sales and margins of products on the defined area/scope Create and follow the administrative management of sales contracts Be responsible for the reporting, sales forecast and trends, customer creation, prospection data on his/her area, contract’s conditions and prices, in liaise with cse Make customer visits and report to the stakeholders through CRM tool Be proactive with the proposition on commercial policy on its area / scope

3. Develop customer portfolio

Analyse, grow and optimize the sales book per opportunities in the market Have an effective collaboration with the marketing department towards capturing growth trends Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships

4. Market analysis
In liaise with mid office / product management, under Head of Sales supervision : 

Record and consolidate market data Analyse competitive products by characteristics & functionalities to assess competition Follow the demand versus supply situation and evolution in order to define the optimal sales plan Gather the Business & Market Intelligence information, information relevant to support decision making Determine strategy in areas such as market penetration and market development

5. Generalities

Ensure his/her mission according to the rules of safety, hygiene, food safety, quality and environment, and procedures on the sites in relation to the risks of the position held Contribute by his/her daily implication in obtaining and maintaining various certifications and participate in the proper conduct of audits Help to nurture a collaborative team environment by participating, contributing and supporting team activities / meetings Support the continuous improvement initiatives through direct participation and / or championing the related initiatives

Your profil:

Engineer or equivalent Technical education in animal nutrition, veterinary science or bio engineering Preferably an experience of 3 - 4 years as a nutritionist or in a technical commercial function working in an agro industry like compound feed or feed ingredients producers Spanish, English and French fluent speaker Competent in informatics tools (SAP, Salesforce, Anaplan, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent written and verbal communication skills (able to communicate with customers from shop floor to mill managers) Structured way of working / analytical skills Results orientation Persuasion skills Teamwork Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority Ability to work with autonomy Frequent trip to customer / plant visits / Moussy-le-Vieux Headquarters (25+% of the time)
