Director, Business Solutions

The Director of Business Solutions will lead a high-performing team of Business Analysts to bridge the gap between Cloudpay’s strategic business needs and innovative technology solutions facing internal and customer end-users.
Reporting directly to the VP of Business & Digital Transformation, this role is crucial in shaping Cloudpay’s future by designing and delivering impactful business solutions that drive efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

This leader will play a pivotal role in translating business requirements into actionable solutions, guiding the implementation of transformative initiatives, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure success.

**Key Responsibilities of the role are**:

- **Leadership & Strategy**:
Lead and mentor the Business Solutions team, ensuring the delivery of solutions that align with Cloudpay’s strategic goals. Drive the team’s vision to support operational excellence, global expansion, and innovation.
- **Solution Design**:
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, define detailed requirements, and architect solutions that address business objectives, ensuring alignment with the broader company strategy.
- **Requirements Gathering & Analysis**:
Lead workshops, interviews, and research efforts to gather comprehensive business and system requirements. Translate these into actionable insights and solutions.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:
Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including IT, product management, operations, and external partners. Ensure that solutions are delivered with precision, meeting both technical and business expectations.
- **Process Optimization**:
Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Develop and propose enhancements that improve productivity, automation, and overall business performance.
- **Project Management & Oversight** (working hand in hand with PMO and Portfolio management)

Oversee the full lifecycle of solution development projects, from concept through execution. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
PS Project execution is led by our Portfolio management team of PMs. Bas will naturally take a Key part in the entire project life cycle
- **Team Development & Growth**:
Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Analysts team, ensuring they maintain high standards of analysis and problem-solving. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional growth.

- Strategic Contribution: Deliver business solutions that directly support Cloudpay’s strategic goals, especially in the areas of automation, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.
- Efficiency & KPIs: Drive measurable improvements in business efficiency, as reflected in key performance indicators (KPIs), particularly those related to automation and process optimization.
- Solution Impact: Deliver fit-for-purpose solutions within agreed timelines, ensuring a measurable positive impact on business performance and stakeholder satisfaction.

**Attributes and Experience Required**:

- Senior and leadership experience in global expansion products, tools and solutions, with a specific focus on HR, payroll, or payments (non-negotiable).
- Extensive experience in business analysis or business solutions roles, with experience managing high-performance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in a relevant or similar field (preferred).
Technical Proficiency:

- Deep knowledge of business analysis frameworks, solution design methodologies, and the tools that support them.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
Leadership & Collaboration:

- Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide teams, drive projects, and influence senior stakeholders across functions and geographies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
