**The Apprentice Procurement and Stores Assistant role:

We have an exciting opportunity for **two **Apprentice Procurement and Stores Assistants to join our Procurement and Stores teams to gain both the experience and a recognised NVQ Level 2 and/or 3 qualification in Supply Chain and Operations.

You’ll spend time with both teams to learn the ins and outs of the functions to ensure effective service delivery is provided across the company.

**Key duties and responsibilities of our Apprentice Procurement and Stores Assistant**:

- Assist in the processes associated with ordering, storage, stock checking and distribution of materials, plant and equipment
- Resolve queries and enquiries with regard to orders and purchases
- Ensure data is accurately processed and updated in line with data protection
- Assist in obtaining quotations, raising orders and confirming delivery dates from suppliers and subcontractors on all goods, works and services provided
- Assist in the implementation of service improvements with the objective of increasing effectiveness, efficiency and eliminating waste.

**What we’re looking for in our Apprentice Procurement and Stores Assistant**:

- 4 GCSE’s Grade A-C or, NVQ Level 2
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to learning and development
- Experience of working with software such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to understand and carry out instruction from their supervisor
- An understanding and commitment to working safely within the workplace
