About You

We are seeking a passionate **Ground Operations Manager** to help us deliver exceptional experiences that celebrate Seville's vibrant culture, food, and heritage.

**About the Opportunity**:
As **Ground Operations Manager,** you will oversee our tour operations in Seville, focusing on upholding our guide and product quality in a competitive market. Your primary responsibilities include hiring, training, and managing a high-quality guide team to deliver the exceptional experiences our brand is known for. You will act as the key on-the-ground contact, managing relationships with external partners and suppliers while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in collaboration with the Fulfillment team, and other business units.

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing tour quality by gathering feedback from guides, partners, and personal experience. This includes contributing to product development, supporting new tour launches, and monitoring the financial performance of tours to identify opportunities for improvement. Additionally, you will stay on top of market developments, identifying new opportunities and ensuring our offerings remain competitive and aligned with industry trends. Approximately 25-50% of your time will be spent on the ground, meeting suppliers and guides, trialing new products, and ensuring the quality of our existing operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Daily Operations**: Oversee day-to-day operations in Seville, including post-tour reconciliation and other finance requirements and delivering on other projects as defined by the Regional Director.
- **Procedures & Documentation**: Develop and maintain all relevant guide and product documentation.
- **Vendor Management**: Build and maintain relationships with partners, such as sites, restaurants, and transport suppliers; set up agreements, negotiate rates, and manage partnerships.
- **Guide & Coordinator/Ground Staff Recruitment, Training & Management**: Recruit, onboard, and train guides and coordinators/ground staff to meet demand and uphold quality standards, including ongoing management of the Guide team and any other coordinator/s or ground staff.
- **Guide Support**: Foster strong guide communication, provide feedback, and conduct regular quality evaluations.
- **Operational Quality**: Ensure consistent guide and product quality through ongoing monitoring and improvements.
- **Accounting**: Manage guide and vendor invoicing, reconciliations, cash, ticket distribution, and daily operational expenses.
- **Product Development**: with developing and refining products as needed, Collaborating with the Regional Director on strategy.
- **Market Performance**: Monitor market performance, collaborating with the Fulfillment Manager & Regional Director to improve margins, efficiency, and quality.
- **Operational Support**: Provide workflow support and on the ground assistance during emergencies or high-demand periods.

**Skills & Experience**
- Ideally 3+ years proven experience in tourism operations, with a preference for roles involving guide management and training or operational management, and bonus points for product development.
- Strong organizational and operational management skills.
- Proactive problem-solving ability and strong attention to detail
- Professionally efficient in all forms of communication.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Strong technical skills and curiosity; the ability to learn multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with operational tools such as Asana, Slack, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or off-schedule events.

Pay: 35,000.00€ - 40,000.00€ per year

**Experience**:

- tourism operations: 2 years (required)
- Training, coaching or management: 1 year (required)

License/Certification:

- Authorization to work in Spain without sponsorship (required)
