The VP Global Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operations of the company on a global scale. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Responsabilities
- Develop and execute the global operations strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage the global operations team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Drive operational excellence by implementing best practices, standard operating procedures, and performance metrics across all regions. This includes the establishment of internal quality controls, including regular site visits.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and legal obligations in all regions of operation.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address
- any issues.
- Development of technical project proposals from scratch and with a high level of detail. Participation in commercial meetings and in efforts to win and maintain clients and projects.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Proven experience (5 years) in a senior operations leadership role within the renewable energy construction industry, with responsibilities both in Spain and Latin America. Most relevant experiences would include EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) at the Site Manager and Project Manager level. Experience in promotion and/or O&M (Operations & Maintenance) would be a plus.
- Spanish required (fluent), English required (fluent), Portuguese (intermediate).
- Strong understanding of solar and wind park construction processes.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
