Business Development Manager (Part‑time) Business Development Manager – Madrid, Spain Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Overview Hyphen is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our office in Madrid, Spain. The role involves identifying and building relationships within the AEC industry across Spain, Portugal, and the broader Iberian market. Responsibilities Generate new leads and business opportunities, closing meetings autonomously, based on strategic guidelines. Identify business opportunities for other group units. Prepare, present and negotiate offers. Conduct market and industry prospecting, attend events, network, and support brand positioning. Establish new relationships with potential clients and strengthen relationships with existing clients, identifying growth opportunities for accounts. Collaborate with other business areas, teams and international offices to support group business development actions. Qualifications & Experience 4–5 years of B2B business development experience within the AEC industry. Experience preparing tender documentation, presentations and bids, and follow‑up. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus. Experience with CRM software platforms. High level of English, both oral and written. Strong customer empathy and ability to detect needs to provide solution‑based services. Positive energy, dynamic, proactive, creative, results‑oriented, capable of working autonomously and adding value to teamwork. Excellent organizational, time‑management, prioritization and communication skills. Academic background in architecture, building science and technology, engineering, or similar – advantageous. Experience in key account management and growth is also advantageous.
