**Welcome To The Jungle: Advertising Director Role in Madrid**
We are looking for a highly experienced leader with excellent enterprise sales skills and experience in growing business and teams. As Digital Sales Director for Spain and Portugal, you will be responsible for leading and managing the advertising function, with a team of Account Manager and a team of Sales Managers.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a proven track record of achieving challenging revenue goals, and has a strategic mindset and structured approach. They need to arrive with initiatives to help continue to grow the Spanish and Portuguese market.
About the Role:
You will strive to deliver excellent customer service and support multiple business initiatives for new existing customers while fostering a collaborative environment that mirrors Taboola's values and industry excellence.
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage the advertising function, with a team of Account Manager and a team of Sales Managers.
- Achieve and surpass quarterly revenue targets, with a significant focus on retention and scaling up the existing advertising business, and increasing the Taboola footprint through continuous new business wins.
- Design and lead the delivery of annual strategic plans with Sales and AM team managing top advertisers and agencies relationships to ensure their loyalty and sustainable growth.
- Engage with advertisers and agencies representing the company and keeping them updated about Taboola's value and new capabilities, keeping the company on client's top of mind.
- Elicit client feedback to act as internal advocate for our clients.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Technical Support teams to create positive client experiences and drive ongoing development of client solutions to meet market demand.
- Oversee the onboarding, training, performance management, career development, coaching and mentoring of the team.
Requirements:
- 10 years of professional experience (client-facing in the digital advertising space is a must).
- Minimum 5 years experience managing and developing a team (Sales and Account Management experience).
- Outstanding relationship management and client service skills preferably with expertise of brands within premium agencies.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills: ability to identify & use data-driven insights to make the best choices for the business.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to translate big data in a commercial and simplified fashion.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around **€80,000 - €120,000 per year**, depending on experience and qualifications.
