Job Title: Reservations Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Reservations Supervisor to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will provide support and guidance to the reservations team, ensuring seamless operations and maximizing revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze competitive sets, price positioning, and future market needs to inform revenue strategies.
  • Execute market-wide strategies and promotions, ensuring effective implementation across all distribution channels.
  • Monitor and optimize revenue systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle guest room reservations, changes, and cancellations, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate potential revenue impacts from fraudulent reservations.
  • Ensure reservation accuracy, segment, channel, routing, and tracing.
  • Manage no-shows and control non-guaranteed reservations.
  • Maintain rate parity across all distribution channels.
  • Monitor online pricing to ensure alignment with pricing strategy and maximize revenue.
  • Stay up-to-date on market and competitor developments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service.
  • Assist in managing daily operations and supporting the reservations team in achieving departmental objectives.
  • Develop and implement upsell programs for reservations and front desk departments.
  • Train and guide team members on best practices for upselling and revenue optimization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in revenue/reservations.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with other teams and leaders.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to make effective decisions.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to our unique culture.
  • Humility and openness to ideas, with a willingness to try new approaches.
