About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Reservations Supervisor to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will provide support and guidance to the reservations team, ensuring seamless execution of hotel sales strategies and revenue optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze competitive sets, price positioning, and future market needs to inform revenue management decisions.
  • Support and execute market-wide strategy and promotion implementation.
  • Ensure hotel sales strategies are effectively implemented in our systems.
  • Conduct ongoing revenue system health-checks and optimization.
  • Handle guest room reservations, changes, and cancellations in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Monitor and address potential fraudulent reservations impacting revenue performance.
  • Ensure reservation accuracy and integrity.
  • Manage no-shows and control non-guaranteed reservations.
  • Maintain rate parity across all distribution channels.
  • Monitor online pricing to ensure alignment with pricing strategy and maximize revenue.
  • Stay informed about market and competitor developments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and seamless operations.
  • Assist in managing and leading the daily operations of the Reservations Department.
  • Develop and implement upsell programs for the reservations and front desk departments.
  • Provide training and feedback to team members, ensuring they are equipped to overcome challenges and deliver exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in revenue/reservations management.
  • Excellent multitasking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and leaders.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow with our team.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
