Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Reservations Supervisor to be part of the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Management, you will provide essential support and leadership to the reservations team on a daily basis.

  • Assist the Director of Revenue Management in evaluating competitive landscapes, pricing strategies, and forecasting market demands.
  • Implement and manage market-wide strategies and promotional initiatives.
  • Ensure the effective execution of hotel sales strategies within the reservation systems.
  • Conduct regular health checks and optimizations of the Revenue System.
  • Process all guest room reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations in accordance with established protocols.
  • Investigate any potential fraudulent reservations that could affect revenue performance.
  • Maintain accuracy in reservations (segments, channels, routing, traces, etc.).
  • Manage no-shows and oversee non-guaranteed reservations.
  • Ensure all distribution channels effectively support the hotel while maintaining rate parity.
  • Monitor daily online pricing to align with pricing strategies and maximize revenue.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.
  • Facilitate communication with other departments, including Credit, Sales, Concierge, and Front Desk.
  • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the Reservations Department and support the team in achieving departmental goals.
  • Lead the upsell program for both the reservations and front desk teams.
  • Train team members as necessary, providing feedback, reviewing processes, and monitoring outcomes. Guide team members in overcoming challenges related to upselling systems and methodologies.
  • Proactively address any potential challenges related to systems or reservations to ensure exceptional service delivery at all times.
Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Revenue Management or Reservations.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with other teams and leaders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities.
  • Quick learner who adapts well to the unique culture of SLS.
  • Open-minded and receptive to new ideas, fostering a collaborative work environment.
